Holiday Portraits for The Art Spirit Gallery Family

This holiday season, Photos by Poe is once again teaming up with The Art Spirit Gallery to offer special family photographic portraits for a limited time.

These family portraits will offer something no other holiday portraits do: Instead of using an artificial background, they'll be taken in Coeur d'Alene's most prestigious artistic space, The Gallery itself. And for every portrait purchased, Photos by Poe and The Art Spirit Gallery will donate a portion of the proceeds to Coeur d'Alene's Lake City Bike Collective.

Since the portraits will be delivered to you as digital files via an online gallery, they can easily be used to make holiday greeting cards to send to friends and relatives. Many local photo finishers offer same-day pickup.

But because they are hand-edited, high-resolution images, they're also ideal for their most rewarding purpose: to print big and hang on your wall for years to come. Not to mention putting in a stand-up frame to brighten up a parent's or spouse's desk. That's especially convenient because we can also take portraits with different combinations of family members (like the mom and son above), and then you can purchase additional edited images from the session at a reduced price.

You'll be able to purchase professional-grade prints, as well as holiday cards, directly through the online gallery if you'd like.

We'll be taking the family portraits in The Gallery on Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13. We will be following all social distancing, mask, occupancy level and other guidelines during the shoots.

You can register for a session by clicking the button below. The price is $50 for one fully hand-edited image (our regular price for hand-edited family portraits is $69). Additional hand-edited images from the same session are $20 each.

During your session, we'll take multiple shots. After the session, you will be able to choose your favorite image from a selection of at least four shots, which you can view in the online gallery.

Once you've made your choice, we'll fully hand-edit your selected image (including retouching for blemishes, flyaway hairs etc), and then post the finished version online for you as a high-resolution electronic file. This final digital image will be suitable for printing and framing, or posting on a website or in social media.
